Good Shepherd Church Foundation
Rt. Rev. Bishop A. J. Sathiyanathan, Bishop of Tranquebar, laid the foundation stone for Good Shepherd Church.
Good Shepherd Church Dedication
Good Shepherd Church was dedicated by Rt. Rev. L. Easter Raj, Bishop of Tranquebar.
Establishment of Pastorate
Good Shepherd Church congregation was constituted as a separate pastorate with Rev. Samuel Devaraj as its first pastor.
Parsonage Dedication
The parsonage of the church was constructed during the tenure of Rev. S. Henry Devadoss as the pastor and dedicated by Rt. Rev. Jayaseelan Jacob, Bishop of Tranquebar.
Good Shepherd Church Hall Dedication
Good Shepherd Church Hall (first phase)was completed and dedicated by Rt. Rev. Jeyaseelan Jacob (Bishop) and opened by Rt. Rev. J. G. Johnson (Bishop Elect).
T.E.L.C. Steiner Day Care Centre
The Good Shepherd Church Women’s Fellowship Wing of the Church established the T.E.L.C. Steiner Day Care Centre to serve the needs of the community.
Sewing Training Centre
Good Shepherd Church Women’s Fellowship Wing launched the Sewing Training Centre on 01.06.1995, providing valuable skills and opportunities for women.
Good Shepherd Church Hall – First Floor
The newly built first floor of the Good Shepherd Church Hall was opened by Rt, Rev. Dr. T. Aruldoss, Bishop of Tranquebar.
Silver Jubilee
Silver Jubilee of Good Shepherd Church was celebrated in our church.
Renovation & Extension of Good Shepherd Church
The renovation and extension of Good Shepherd Church were dedicated by the Rt. Rev. Dr. T. Aruldoss, Bishop of Tranquebar during the tenure of Rev. G. John Gunalan.
Renovation of Parsonage
The renovation of parsonage was dedicated by the Rt. Rev. Dr. T. Aruldoss, Bishop of Tranquebar during the tenure of Rev. Thinagar Maharaja.
